Journey of Lost Soles is a documentary photography and storytelling project in early development, founded by S.K. Lopossa to deepen understanding of homelessness and encourage advocacy.

Through photographs of shoes, soles, hands, belongings, and the accounts people choose to share, the project will explore individual journeys—the distance, exposure, exhaustion, and work of survival. Participant choice, ongoing consent, and care for privacy will guide how the work is made and presented.

The project is seeking an existing nonprofit host and collaborators to shape a small NYC pilot, with a longer-term vision of a photography book, traveling exhibition, and community presentations.
